Ben Carlos March 14, 1961 - October 10, 2024

Friends, I have terribly sad news.  

My beloved husband, Ben passed away peacefully, October 10th surrounded by me and our six daughters. 

Many might not have known but he had renal cancer. 

 It appeared that the treatments were working.

 Unfortunately, they didn’t know it had spread to the brain which ruptured suddenly last night.  We were blessed that all our daughters were able to arrive prior to his passing.  

Needless to say-We won’t be attending the rest of the
October Idaho Falls Farmers Markets.

However, Yavanna and I will be part of the Winter Markets starting November 9th at the Shilo Inn.

He has touched so many lives from his time at Walmart, Revolutionary War reenacting back East, at the Coloninal Festival in Utah or right here in Idaho. 

He loved teaching! Whether it was about History, Floral Design, Gardening, as a Young Mens leader or teaching Primary at Church. 

He loved meeting and talking with everyone at the Farmers Markets too.   I'll Thank You now for all of your kind words and prayers.

He absolutely loved making his Jams and sharing them with ALL of you.
This summer he taught Yavanna and our friend Amanda how to carry on his legacy.  
 

I will send out more information about his Memorial Service next Monday October 14th.  If you’d like to attend. 

Our Faith is Strong knowing he's with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
